FAQ

A Waterland Tub is a semi-aquatic breeding enclosure, made from UV-stabilized, 100% recycled HDPE. Each tub features a designated wet area, a designated dry area, and an easy-grip ramp that connects the two spaces.

Nope! While originally designed as a tortoise and turtle tub, the Waterland Tub also follows the breeding preferences of animals such as water dragons, monitors, and many amphibians!

Currently, we offer an attachable lid for only the Small Land Tub. We plan to develop lids for all sizes in the future, but the date for those is TBD.

We ship Waterland Tubs from our headquarters in central Wisconsin and also have five distributors across the United States. See where they’re located (LINK).

We recommend attaching a submersible filter to continuously remove unwanted debris. We also suggest a 25-50% water change once a month, or more frequently as needed.

To drain a Waterland Tub, you can install one of our Better Bulkhead® Fittings or manually siphon the water out using an external pump.
